Esteeville Ltd is Jason Clarke & Sons — a family-run film and television transport company built around a fleet that is kept properly and driven by people who understand a set.
Esteeville is a family firm — Jason Clarke & Sons — supplying standby and tech vehicles to film and television productions across Ireland. The name on the side of the truck is the name of the people running it, which is not a slogan so much as an explanation of how the job gets done. The fleet runs from 3.5 tonne Luton box vans up to 26 tonne standby trucks, with box trailers, a low loader and 4x4 support vehicles filling in around it.
Every vehicle goes out with a driver who has worked on productions. That is the part that is hard to buy in — knowing how a unit base is laid out, what a lock-up means for a load-in, and why being early is the whole job.
The fleet is kept clean and consistent, because on a location where the public can see the trucks, presentation is part of what a production is paying for.
Most work is run-of-show: vehicles stay with the production from prep through to wrap, so there is one operator across the whole schedule rather than a new supplier every block.
